Bereaved visualize their loss in many ways. Turtle Pond at University of Texas Austin is the outstanding example of facilitating family members to deal with their grief.

- She received scholarship from Ford foundation and it allowed her to pursue master degree in a University at Austin Texas USA. During her study, she explored her curiosity on the topic of history, memory, and narrative in Indonesia and she focused her study on the narratives of survivors. Her research interests stems from several formative experiences in her life. The ensuing experiences shaped her understanding of women’s positionality in Indonesia.
